Our Central High West students did exceedingly well at the Fresno Fair. The list of accomplishments is long but here are some highlights: -For beef cattle, ther...e were 4 showmen, two were 1st in market class and 2 placed in their showmanship division. -5 students who placed in their showmanship division for dairy goats: -FFA Champion and Supreme Champion Dairy Replacement Doe: Faith Schroeder -Reserve FFA champion Dairy Replacement Doe - Stacy Thur -Champion Cross, FFA Champion & Supreme Champion Market Lamb - Larry Sanchez -Reserve FFA champion and Reserve Supreme Champion Market Lamb - Kara Ramos. 2 additional breed champions for sheep: 20 showmen in Market Goats (the majority of those were born at the school) Champion FFA and Supreme Champion Market Dairy Goat - Ashante Cantu Reserve Champion FFA and Reserve Supreme Champion Market Dairy Goat - Brooklin Egle For Swine, 16 showmen with 3 reserve champions and 1 breed champion as well as 2 students advanced to showmanship. Many of the animals are bred by students on campus (or at their homes) which makes our program special. Congratulations to all of our FFA students! -For beef cattle, there were 4 showmen, two were 1st in market class, and 2 placed in their showmanship division.
