CCWC Aftercare, cont Attention: Writer Peeps I love it when things are reduced to their essence but no further.... Simplicity can be liberating. Not to conflate simple with easy. Sometimes the simplest things are the most difficult, but at least we have the advantage of knowing what the overall charge is without getting stuck in a morass of trivia. I recently received some brilliant editorial wisdom which I thought worth passing along - summing up the revision process as follows: Adding depth and subtlety to every aspect of the book. Boom. Mic drop. There is so much in that single simple statement. Easy? No. But clear. And also revealing in what it DOESN’T entail Happy writing!
