Spoon-feeding students little bits of information leaves a brain starving to feast on the many wonderful experiences waiting to be found in the world. Students sitting at desks for six hours a day can never have the dynamic experiences that the learning brain craves. An education that focuses solely on knowledge is missing out on the most powerful part of school: fueling imagination. At Celebration Education, we use exciting activities to introduce great topics, but we don't thoroughly "cover" them. Our topic activities are designed to ignite imagination to set the child free to expand on the topic however their imagination requires. These students were introduced to Victoria Falls in Zambia. They used map coordinates to find the location... of the falls.
