A nice colorful sunrise in the port of LA this morning. I wish I hadn't snoozed my alarm this morning as I could have made it down south to seascape.

Snakes in the Grass - Your imagination runs wild when viewing these trees. Some see elephant trunks, but in this shot I felt like I saw them as snakes sticking out of the grass. What do you see?

Meadow Bliss - I caught the last bit of light hitting the tops of the bushee in the meadow, but almost missed it. After @jude_allen and I had scouted out this meadow for the best views for sunset we found a nice place to set up here. As always setting up I quickly realized that I had left my tripod in the car due to excitement over the light. I hastily made a decision to run back to the car; at 9,000 ft this wasn't the best idea. After about a half mile sprint in back I made it just in time to get my camera set up for the last bit of light on our foreground. #worthit

Milky Mill -- A composite vision I had while standing down by the river. One day I will go back for real milky way, but for now I will live in a fantasy world.

Iconic Colorado -- Splendid afternoon at this view with @gettyphotography and @ryansmithfineartphoto.

Secret Crescendo -- A colorful predawn sky lit the valley in magenta and gave us our first glimpse of this beautiful yet strange valley. Not a unhappy man in the bunch as we stuck around for the sun to come up and light the rocks, deespite it being just a few ticks above freezing this morning. Panoramic Cathedral -- I'm one of my first afternoons exploring I was lucky to get some clouds at sunset. I wasn't too excited to take this shot because I was anxious to wait for the aspens to be more yellow. However, great clouds and the last beam of light at the end of the day made me think otherwise. The glowing red underbrush of the forest floor contrasted nicely with the green aspens to make it worth a click or two. This is a piece of a 86 megapixel pano that I did.
