Duane Nelson was honored last Thursday night at the CCHS Foundation Shareholders' Dinner for his almost 40 years of service to Central Catholic High School, through leadership roles on the School Board, Foundation Board and Corporate Board. Two of Duane's children, pictured here with Foundation President, Jim Pecchenino '72, were able to join Duane for the evening, Brian '94, and Colleen '95. The dinner was hosted by CCHS Foundation Chair, Robert Fantazia and his wife, Cheryl, at the Redwood Cafe.

CCHS Sophomore Mass

Congratulations to CCHS Sophomore, Alexa Okida, for winning 2nd place, nationally, in the Catholic Daughters Education Contest in the art category this year! Alexa placed 1st in the local and State contest, thereby qualifying for the National competition. WE are so proud of you, Alexa!

Lands' End School Starboard Scholarship applications are now open! This program acknowledges and rewards students who display exceptional leadership skills. Up to five scholarships will be awarded to eligible students in grades 912. Central Catholic students can apply by using the school code listed below. Congratulations to Anne Dunn '21 and Drake Jimenez '21 for being named commended students in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program. Anne and Drake placed among the top 3% of students who entered the 2021 competition by taking the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
