Tomorrow we will be visiting JPL for their annual Open House event- we can't wait! http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/events/open-house.php
Today we will have our first ever Engineering Fair, and YOU can get involved. Just bring a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) related item to show, it would be great if you could bring your own project you have worked on. We will also be signing up for the JPL Open House, don't miss it! Weekly meetings held on Tuesdays at 2:00 in VSS-105.

After months of dedication, research, and overall hard work, we are proud to announce that Project UP is off the ground! What started out as a suggestion last semester is now a reality. Our 2015 weather balloon project.
We are sad/excited to inform you that our last meeting of the semester is tomorrow. Come by to VSS-105 at 12:00 to see our progress this semester. Also, for those of you still interested in seeing Roger's wind tunnel but missed the presentation, Roger will be presenting his wind tunnel this Wednesday, May 13th in PS-120 starting at 11:00. Physics-45 students get 10 points extra credit for showing up.
We love seeing what our members are working on. Feel free to bring in any engineering-related projects you have done.
We have all our materials ready to go! Today we will begin construction. Live photo
We are excited to announce one of our members Roger Hooper has built his own wind tunnel! You may have seen the big wood machine displayed in the Physics lab, but haven't seen it in action. Roger will be demonstrating his wind tunnel during our meeting this week (tomorrow); come out and see it!
We went to the Stanley Black and Decker distribution center in Rialto on March 27th. Engineers got some background on the company and toured the facility, all led by the president's dad, Mr. Scott Little.
