The EMS Agency sends our thanks and appreciation to those 37 crew members that volunteered to serve on the strike teams. Thank you to American Ambulance, American Ambulance of Visalia, Coalinga Fire, and Kingsburg Fire for filling these strike teams requests.

NEW AMBULANCE STRIKE TEAM Out with the old and in with the new. A new ambulance strike team was sent to Clear Lake to relieve the current ambulance strike team that has been committed for 5 days. Thanks to American Ambulance and Coalinga Fire Dept for sending new staffing for this ambulance strike team. Your work is greatly appreciated.

AMBULANCE STRIKE TEAM UPDATE The American Ambulance of Visalia ambulance strike team has been demobilized and returning home today from the Santa Cruz area. The American Ambulance/Kingsburg Fire ambulance strike team is being relieved and also heading home today from the Clear Lake area. They are being relieved by another strike team from American Ambulance and Coalinga Fire.... THANK YOU to all of the crews for a busy 5-day commitment. They were busy and traveled many many miles throughout the State moving patients and responding to calls. TWO AMBULANCE STRIKE TEAMS HEAD TO NAPA This afternoon, we deployed 2 ALS Ambulance Strike Teams to Napa County in response to the Lightening Complex Fire. 5 ambulances and a strike team leader responded from Fresno County and Tulare County also sent 5 ALS ambulances and a strike team leader. They are responding to the Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville where they will receive further direction. At this time their mission is to stand-by in the event of immediate evacuation of hosp...itals and other facilities. They will also backup EMS and assist at alternate care sites. THANK YOU to American Ambulance, Kingsburg Fire and American of Visalia for commiting these valuable resources to help out during this time.

EMS WEEK THANK YOU to all of the Emergency Medical Service workers and providers. We are working in crazy times right now and no one is closer to the front lines. Paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, first responders, emergency department staff are the dedicated individuals working to serve our communities in the best of times and the worst of times.... The COVID19 pandemic has challenged EMS personnel and their commitment to continue to provide quality patient care is appreciated by all of us. THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO!!!
