We are holding monthly white accountability meetings in order to have the difficult and uncomfortable conversations among a group of clinicians who are dedicated and passionate about doing the internal work to fight racism. These meetings will remain focused on discussion topics provided, with room for personal experiences and responses. For these meetings we will assign reading or viewing material to ground our discussions. ... Feel free to invite other DMT’s who may be interested in participating. The CCADTA welcomes proposals for our next virtual chapter event. We are seeking proposals for education and training that align with promoting social justice, advocacy for embodied social justice, BIPOC visionaries in DMT, healing racial trauma through art and movement, body centred resilience, or other related topics. Please submit proposals by Monday, August 10th to [email protected] Proposals will be evaluated based on their alignment with chapter theme for event and clarity of learning objectives. There will be CE credit opportunities.
