Did you know almost all of Cat Support Networks acquired kittens come from rescuing off our communities streets? Without organizations like ours doing the endless work of TNR and rescuing these little lives off the streets an extensive amount of lives would be lost each year. Although there’s no way for us to save them all, our team works tirelessly to rescue these precious beings and bring them into our homes while making sure their parents are spayed/neutered and have a ca...regiver supplying them with food. Kitten season is fast approaching and WITHOUT our community coming together and temporarily opening their homes we simply can’t do the work we do. PLEASE consider fostering for Cat Support Network this year! If you have been considering fostering now is the time! In just a couple short months, or sooner our organization will be flooded with phone calls for kittens born outside and with YOUR help we can save the lives that NEED saving. For more information please fill out a foster application on our website at www.catsupport.net and our foster coordinator will contact you with more information. #fosteringsaveslives

The newest bunch to the CSN family! One of our fosters was driving down Willow Pass Ct. and noticed a litter of kittens poking their heads out of a bush. She informed us of what she saw and off we went to try and get these guys to safety! Mom had these guys in a very dense area of bushes with no access inside of the bushes besides the hole you see in the photo. ... After 2 days and 2 VERY long nights we were able to catch all 4 babies AND momma kitty (because getting the parents is just as important as getting the kittens)! We are still working on catching a big tomcat who we believe is the father of the kittens as well as a young Siamese. After we’ve accomplished trapping those last 2 the colony is complete and no more babies will have to be born in the area and risk being hit by a car. Welcome to safety little ones and welcome to no more baby making Momma kitty! #TNR #tnrworks #adoptablesoonish

UPDATE: ADOPTED! Liam was the only one who didn’t find his forever home at yesterday’s adoption event. Why? Because everyone wants tiny kittens.. Well, let us give you a few reasons why adopting a young adult like Liam is such a bonus. ... *Established personality! - Unlike kittens that are still developing their traits, adult cats know what they want, when they want it and how. And we’re able to tell you all of those things up front! *No potty training! - Already done! *Less supervision! - Adult cats are fine spending their days napping while you’re at work. No need to worry about a young kitten getting lonely. A cat like Liam will likely nap his day away while you’re gone at work and be ready for snuggles when you get home! These are just a few reasons why adopting an adult cat is very beneficial. The bonus with Liam is he’s still very young! He’ll be only 2 years old in April. So he’ll still show you his young spirit with playtime and entertainment as well as have plenty of years to grow his bond deeper and deeper with you. Liam is currently up for adoption at our adoption center inside of Petsmart in Antioch, CA. It is a very busy environment and he has only been there for a couple days so he is still adjusting to his surrounding and is a bit nervous. PLEASE go meet this extremely sweet boy and see if his amazing personality sounds like a good fit for your home! You can go visit him anytime during store hours however, application approval and adoptions take place between 12-4pm daily. Petsmart- 5879 Lone Tree Way, Antioch Liam: Liam is the runt of the litter, orange tabby who was named after a beloved character from the movie ‘The Big Lebowski’Liam O’Brien. Just like his namesake, he doesn’t say much, but he will completely melt your heart! He is remarkably super soft with beautiful bold stripes and has a super sweet personality to boot. Liam always looks like he is in awe of everything going on around him, with his eyes wide open and curious about everything. He loves to play and especially loves cat tubes. He REALLY loves cat tubes. Every once in a while, he also discovers his tail, and chases that around for a while. Liam can be a pretty great co worker, but don’t be surprised if he falls asleep on the job. He’s a complete cuddle bug and gets along great with other cats #adoptable
