Update on Cohorts Based on the recommendation from Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Director, Dr. Ferrer, we have decided that all cohorts of students receiving in person instruction on all school campuses will be paused for the rest of the month. The exception is for those Moderate/Severe SDC students at Northlake and the Preschool. Given the high transmission rates across the county, we are strongly encouraging staff to work from home as much as possible to reduce the risk of infection. It is imperative that we all do our part to reduce the spread of infection and return our students to school. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The art displayed this month offers a variety of styles and techniques from our Castaic Union School District students. Congratulations to our #CastaicMiddleSchool Students of the Quarter! Each quarter CMS teachers nominate students who show outstanding achievement/effort for Student of the Quarter. One 7th grade student and one 8th grade student are then chosen from the list of nominees as the overall Student of the Quarter. Some exciting news to share. Weekend meals will be sent home tomorrow, October 23, and then every Friday thereafter. Every child will receive meals for Saturday and Sunday at the Friday drive-up service. @SchoolDayCafe
