The toxicity and personal slandering of our fellow merchant Marjan Philhour on our street, who co-founded Balboa Village Merchants Association with Yuka Ioroi are breaking our hearts. She most certainly is not a Republican. It’s crazy we have to say that out loud She is the most caring person you can meet, and has helped many of us businesses on the street while she and her sister have also faced the blunt of COVID this year while running thier place Village Place and Blu...e Stone Pottery where many of our gorgeous plates and cups came from. We are ready to work with whoever is elected as we believe they are all qualified, but we are very wary of the negativity in the local campaigns. Have you seen what Utah governor candidates did to denounce toxicity? Please we want to be informed not scared. We want to see integrity. We want to see local leaders lead by the examples.
