When a 60 year old born on date isn’t a bad thing. These numbers in our industry become common knowledge....however for those who don’t know what this means. It’s a date code of when the block was cast. A-L indicates what month. The center numbers are the day of the month. The last number indicates the year. B = February, 18 is the day in February the block was cast, the 0 indicates 1960. 1960 #283chevy
