One Family Owned Since New Excellent Running 360 V8 Pro Comp 4" Suspension Lift 35" x 12.50 x 17" Tires This is a really cool looking truck, I don't care which of the 'Big 3' denominations you belong to. The High Impact Vitamin C with the black Power Wagon graphics just looks tough. Inside the interior is the original. It shows some wear but for a 37 year old original its nice. The seat is quite comfortable too. Under the hood the 360 has been upgraded with an aluminum intake manifold, headers & dual exhaust. When the intake was added a new oil pump was installed for cheap insurance. The engine fires up nicely and powers this 1/2 ton easily. The big exhaust has a nice snarl to it. To achieve this height a 4" Pro Comp lift was installed along with their 'steering correction' kit. On the road this one track very nicely and the steering is crisp & tight. No real frills to discuss (except for the great price!) No power steering, does not have power brakes. Drums on all 4 corners. It does have good looking, very clean interior with center console. It has curb appeal as it sits, but up close inspection will reveal that the clear coat paint is starting to peel in a few places and there’s a few bubbles starting here and there (photos available). 1969 AMX FOR SALE $16,950 ... Rare Muscle Car! Powerful 390 V8 Engine Tight Shifting Automatic Transmission Factory 2-Seater! Brand New American Racing Torque Thrusts Brand New Cooper Cobra Tires AMX's are a unique part of the Muscle Car Era. The lone true 2-seater of the era. They packed 390 Cubic inches into a small package and had good success on the streets & tracks especially at the Trans Am series. Due to their limited production in the shadows of the Mustang & Camaro they were rare when new and enjoy almost a unicorn status now. This is a good looking car. Great lines unique to AMC give you a bit of a parallel universe feel, similar but not quite Ford...not quite Chevy...not quite Mopar. It is a fun car to look at just enjoy. This is an older paint job with plenty of Patina. Overall the car is solid though there is bubbling on the quarter panels behind the wheels and a very small bit on the floors under the seat riser junction. Otherwise, a very solid car. Trim is in decent shape too. There is some body damage on the rear of the car (that was recent and the reason the car came available). The pics do show the aqua paint a bit more blue than it is in person. Inside the interior is obviously older with wear and a couple small missing trim pieces. Easily useable as is as a 'no guilt driver' or just refinish as you go. The seats are quite comfortable and offer a useable reclining function which is super cool. The dash features a factory tachometer that works! Under the hood the 390 runs great. There is an obvious cam upgrade because it sounds very healthy. Big aluminum intake manifold and large tube headers let this 390 breath freely. The automatic transmission goes into gear nicely and shifts firmly through the aftermarket shifter. The converter has a mild stall (2500 rpm?). Gearing feels like 4.11's but isn't too bad with the large roll out of the tall 275 60 tires. Please contact us for more information.
