We are so proud of the Latino Book Award we received last night in Los Angeles. Congratulations to author Chito Cuellar and much thanks to René Colato Laínez for attending and representing Luna's Press Books at the award ceremony. Bilingual poems about the loss of friends and family of a young man at the start of the Salvadoran civil war. Perfect for High School and University students. "The objective of this award is to recognize books for children and young adult published in Spanish in the United States, that stand out for the content originality, its literary and artistic creation, and the excellent use of Spanish."
