WHY NOT PAPER CONTAINERS? As team Carry The Curry, we are very proud of our initiative and take pride in serving our customers healthy and organic meals but at the same time, we have always been deeply concerned about the impact of packaging waste and increasing plastic pollution. Since the beginning of our company, we absolutely wanted to switch to some eco-friendly options and stop the usage of plastic containers. But avoiding plastic containers was a bit challenging as p...lastic containers protect food over long transportation hours and guard it against pressure and prevent leakage. While it’s understandable that implementing a whole new range of packaging materials doesn’t happen overnight, so we asked a few of our customers to help us test the new paper containers and they gladly volunteered. Though unfortunately, the trial was not successful but as someone has rightly said, every accomplishment starts with the decision to try and we will try again with some better and sustainable packaging option.
