Dear Facebook Friends and Family, On September 9th, I will participate in my 5th Best Buddies Challenge: Hearst Castle, a 100 mile bike ride in support of the ...Best Buddies programs. The event usually takes place along the Highway 1 coastline from Carmel to Hearst Castle. This year’s route will start and end at Hearst Castle due to unfortunate and destructive events along the Big Sur coastline. My team partner Kristy Kehs and I will be riding to support Best Buddies International. They are an outstanding organization that supports mentally and physically challenged kids and young adults. Participating in this ride for the last four years and continuing to support Best Buddies has truly been a life changing experience. Seeing these kids and how they remain positive and fun with all the challenges they face is incredibly inspiring. So I would like to ask you to please help me help Best Buddies by considering making a donation towards Kristy’s and my fundraising goal of $10,000. To participate in this event we need to raise $3,000, but we have decided to step up our fundraising goal. This is going to be my last Best Buddies Challenge and I would like to go out with a bang. Dear Facebook Friends and Family, Eleven weeks from today on September 10, 2016, Team Carmel Valley Physical Therapy and about 2500 other cyclists will participate in the Best Buddies Challenge Hearst Castle. It is a benefit ride of 100 miles, 60 miles or 35 miles down the beautiful central coast of California on Highway 1. I am asking for donations of any size to allow our team to participate. Best Buddies is an amazing organization supporting physically and intellectually challenged kids and young adults. I would like to see our team raise over $20K. Last year our team raised over $15K.
