Carelink Hospice Services Annual Remembrance of the Names and Flower Ceremony held on October 28th 2017. When we are grieving, it is normal to feel a deep absence - especially in autumn and at the holidays. You may find comfort from simple activities that remember and acknowledge the person who has passed. During the month of November, thousands of people will partake in what is now commonly referred to as No-Shave November. Foregoing shaving or skipping a hair appointment is one of many ways people can get involved in helping the cause. Carelink Hospice Services is doing our part by raising funds and inviting you to create a team to join our efforts. This year's campaign will support programs at Prevent Cancer Foundation, Fight Colorectal Cancer, and St. Jude Children's Resear...ch Hospital. Each of the foundations listed are making great strides in fighting, researching, and preventing cancer. Providing personalized patient care is our number one priority. We were told a story of a missing bible and cross and the importance of these items to our patient. Sometimes the smallest things hold the biggest value in someone’s life. A new bible and cross was hand delivered today by our thoughtful volunteers who asked if this was something we could do and the answer is always yes.
