This is a message from the California Department of Education (CDE), Early Learning and Care Division (ELCD). *************************** Fiscal Year 202021 Ch...ild Care and Development Contract Changes The Child Development and Nutrition Fiscal Services (CDNFS) Office is providing all contractors with a link to the FY 202021 Child Care and Development Contract Changes for Alternative Payment Contractors and the FY 2020-21 Child Care and Development Contract Changes for Direct-Service Contractors. Due to the number of changes affecting Alternative Payment and Direct-Service contractors, CDNFS is releasing two letters this year instead of one. These letters detail information important to all contractors with the California Department of Education to provide childcare and development services. Topics include changes to the limits of reimbursement, updates on reimbursement calculation, new funding sources made available to various contract types, attendance and fiscal reporting updates, family fee waivers, and reimbursement, among others. Please find the 202021 Center-based Child Development Contract Changes letter on the CDNFS web page at https://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/aa/cd/cbcdcontractchngs2021.asp and 202021 Child Care and Development Contract Changes for Alternative Payment Contractors at https://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/aa/cd/apcontractchngs2021.asp.
