There are so many eye-opening and inspiring stories being told on the screen. One such documentary short from that caught our attention is CHASING MONSTERS. Kevin Whitaker is a former Ontario Superior Court judge who was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, an aggressive form of Parkinson’s disease. After his diagnosis, Kevin found some respite from his hallucinations through painting, resulting in his eerie and kaleidoscopic art show, Chasing Monsters. It's playing as part of the LA charity fundraiser/film festival Awareness Festival. A ticket buys you a daylong pass to live screenings and more.
