Kids Charity Flea Market Little kids can help our community too! Learn how to turn your own toys, books or clothes to charity for communities i...mpacted by California Fire! Time: 12/16 1pm-5pm (1-2pm setup) Place: Taiwan Center of Northern California (4413 Fortran Ct San Jose CA 95134) Mission : Let children experience the real life situation. They will widen their points of view and improve their social skills from observing and learning amongst community. They will learn to serve and help the community with their own power and hearts, and furthermore to understand the meaning of life! Guidelines: All money earned will be donated to Red Cross to help the communities that are impacted by the California fires. This event is suitable for kids from PreK-5th grade. Participants under 6 year old require at least one parent’s company. PreK 56 All items’ condition should be acceptable. Items should be cleaned and labeled before the event (labels will be provided by Taiwan School). Participants are required to pre-registered by 12/9. 12/9 The participant with the highest donation will win a surprise Taiwan Center gift! Come join a screening of this award winning documentary short film about the early Chinese in Mississippi and the testimony of the journey to find Only Won’s grandfather. It will be paired with musical performances and a discussion time with Q&A about the film and the issues it explores.
