Attorney George Rios provides a brief update on some changes we have seen in immigration recently.

This week attorney Gregory Olson represented two DACA clients at the Fresno USCIS Field Office as they applied for Advance Parole. Their petitions were approved and now the two clients, who happen to be siblings, will be able to visit their grandmother in Mexico. Since these two clients are each married to U.S. citizens, when they return from their trip to Mexico, they will be able to apply for Adjustment of Status within the United States thanks to their legal entry under Ad...vance Parole. Esta semana el abogado Gregorio Olson represento a dos clientes que tienen DACA en la oficina de USCIS en Fresno para sus peticiones de Advance Parole. Estas peticiones fueron aprobadas y ahora estos dos clientes, que son hermanos, podrán ir a visitar a su abuela en México. Debido a que los dos clientes están casados con ciudadanos americanos, cuando regresen de su viaje ellos podrán aplicar para el ajuste de estatus dentro de los E.E.U.U. gracias a su entrada legal con el Advance Parole.

Our DACA client's Advance Parole request was approved! This is the 1st one we have been able to do since the White House put a stop to it in March, 2017. We are hoping to do many more.
