Hello CGSA Families, Thank you CGSA families for your patience and support as we work to make the best decisions for our Softball Community and provide you with timely updated information. As it stands today, there are two main factors that we are considering as we move forward with our softball season, the weather and the Coronavirus. For the past week, the rain has been steady and should continue to stay steady for the coming week and a half. Additionally, yesterday ev...ening, our county officials declared a local health emergency with the Coronavirus. With this pandemic of the coronavirus out and public, the rain has helped our decision making so far with all of the field closures. But after review amongst USA Softball, other local organizations, the CGSA Board of Directors and keeping the girls and public best interests at heart, we have decided to close down all CGSA softball operations until March 22nd, at which time we will reconvene to decide the next best steps for the league. We will be reviewing the latest health information and will keep you all informed as to when softball will start back up. With the amount of time we have already been out and keeping in mind this next week of closures, we will do everything in our power to make up missed games within USA Softball time tables. Stay tuned to the CGSA website for the latest updates of these closures and when we will be getting the girls back out on the dirt playing this awesome sport. Good evening Camarillo Girls Softball parents Tomorrow, Sunday, February 23rd is our picture day, and we just wanted to let you know a couple of important pieces of information to have tomorrow go as smooth as possible. Please make sure that your players are there at least 15 minutes before their photo time, The photographer will begin the team photos promptly at the scheduled time so please do not be late.... Each girl needs to fill out a photo order sheet, even if you are not purchasing additional photos, you will receive a memory mate with your paid registration so please fill out the form and bring it tomorrow morning. Lastly, please check in at the photo table as soon as you get to the field even if the rest of your team is not there. Each player needs to individually check in at the photo table.
