Due to the unprecedented enrollment interest in our schools, combined with a dramatic change in the way the state funds public schools, our board of directors has made the difficult decision to set limits on enrollment for the 2020-21 school year. As of yesterday, families who have not yet started the enrollment process will no longer be able to create an account for 2020-21; however, this may change should California change its funding for growing public schools like California Connections Academy in August. We understand this is a stressful and frustrating time. We know many of you who are already in the enrollment and registration process will have questions and would like immediate answers. Anna excelled academically throughout her four years at our school AND won the ballet world's prestigious prize "Youth America Grand Prix" in 2016. She continued on to the finals in New York where she was awarded a scholarship to Academie Danse Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Class of 2020 had FIVE students graduate who have been enrolled in our school since Kindergarten. Madison has served her community for years with a variety of philanthropic endeavors. Today we’re celebrating Teresa Martinez! Teresa is a special education student who was diagnosed with stage 3 autism at a very young age, she later went from nonverbal autism at age 4 to verbal autism at age 6. Despite Teresa's condition and obstacles in life, she remains victorious and undefeated in conditioning herself to succeed in all walks of life. She loves unicorns and Anime and wants to learn coding to design video games. In her spare time she loves to watch You...Tube and read manga.
