California Horticultural Society

I'll be sharing photos of mine during the plant forum portion of Cal Hort's Zoom meeting before the main program. My specimen was obtained from Annie's Annuals many years ago. It has never flowered for me (no regrets).

Always nice to get a look into Piet Oudolf designed gardens and to hear his thoughts about this pastime we all enjoy.

Once again we need to be sure the word gets out that there will be no meeting or book sale today while social distancing protocols are still in place. I wonder how many of us are getting comfortable on zoom? Perhaps we may want to make use of that for meetings or even in lieu of coffee in the garden events if the quarantine continues on into May.

Just to be sure the word gets out, tonight's (3/16/20) meeting of the California Horticultural Society has been been cancelled out of concerns for the safety of the membership stemming from COVID-19. The second sale of Ted Kipping's library to benefit his survivors that had been scheduled to run today between 4 and 7 pm has been postponed.
