Based on updated guidelines released by the CDC, California Arts Academy will experience a temporary postponement of all classes and events starting Monday, March 16 and potentially ending on March 31, 2020. Your health and safety is always our highest priority. Our semester will extend to accommodate these unexpected weeks of postponed classes. Our events will be rescheduled to the nearest date possible and we intend for these events to be just as fantastic as originally expected. We ask for your support, understanding, and patience as our students and families mean the world to us. We are closely monitoring the CDC recommendations and will make adjustments as needed. Thank you.

California Arts Academy is closely monitoring the progress of the COVID-19 virus as well as the guidelines and restrictions being put forth by the CDC. The safety of our clients and staff are our highest priority. At this time our studio will continue to operate with greatly increased levels of cleanliness and disinfecting of surfaces, door knobs, props, costumes, and equipment. We employ a full-time janitorial staff that is working endlessly to help keep us safe and heal...thy. Teachers have joined the efforts by utilizing additional disinfection procedures prior to, during, and after classes and also by encouraging students to wash their hands frequently. If anyone in your household is experiencing a fever, cough, or frequent sneezes we encourage you to stay home and not attend class or rehearsal. Additionally, if you have been in contact with anyone showing these symptoms, we encourage you to stay home. Students who show up to class with symptoms will be asked to head home for the day. We would like to remind you that CAA has a generous make-up policy for any classes missed for illness or during the duration of this virus. All special events, shows, and workshops are being discussed individually among management members as we navigate the worldwide spread of this virus. We will be adhering to the CDC’s restriction on events attracting greater than 250 people and we encourage all attendees to make the best choices for their personal health and those in their presence. We understand that this can be a scary and uncertain time. Your teachers and studio management are available for any questions or concerns you may have on this matter. Thank you.
