So I know we have been quiet on FB lately but wanted to give all our Rage Family and sponsors an update on what Rage is up to... besides helping our local girls continue their education through softball for almost 30 years now (ane we continue to do so in our own community), we have decided to take our very small non-profit a step further in helping other children across the world learn this sport that have given us so much. Softball to us at Rage is not "just" a sport but ...a way to teach life lessons that stay with us way past our playing days. We are so proud of the leaders, college graduates, mothers, business owners, community supporters that Rage has had the privilege of calling our "Rage Family" and now we are doing our best to help other communities throughout the world. Our most recent endeavor is helping a small village in the Philippines. Many of the local children dont have opportunities and equipment to play but their coach uses his ingenuity to create as many tools from scratch to help the kids develop, along with many hours of his own time. This dedication to the kids and always giving 110% is what Rage is all about.. Thanks to all our sponsors who have helped by continuing to donate money to help our girls become their best over the years. Also a big thank you to the Rage families who donated their gear to help us start this new endeavor.... We cant do it without your continued support... This cha...llenge will take place this summer in Colorado, the weekend prior to the Sparkler/Fireworks showcase. What is unique about team Middle East, is that we are encompassing a group of countries that will join forces to be one solid unit. Countries we will represent: -Lebanon -Syria -Egypt -Turkey -Palestine -Jordan -Iraq -Iran -Kuwait -United Arab Emirates -Saudi Arabia -Qatar -Bahrain -Yemen -Cyprus -Oman To qualify and tryout for this team/country for this event you must meet ANY 2 of the following criteria: - U.S. citizen - Have a parent born in the country you want to represent - Have a grandparent born in the country you want to represent - Have a great grandparent born in the country you want to represent - Born in the country you want to represent Joined by my sister and some outstanding assistant coaches, we are looking for high school aged young ladies who would love to represent team Middle East.
