I am probably busier than I have ever been...my cell phone shows 82 business calls on Thursday but it is time to start to carve magic back into my life. Doing a Community Event Show in San Jose tomorrow. From March 2020 until now I have only done 1 show so it will be fun to get back to magic
All the time people ask me 'when are you going to retire?" or 'why are you not retired ?" Well very simple; I love what I do--- I enjoy the people I work with a...nd I have long term happy successful customers that I admire and even adore. I like the location of my office, I like those I work with, I like the creativity of my work, and I love my clients and I love those vendors we deal with.........I am very lucky. Of course there were the financial down years and probably most small companies go thru that but I can say looking back that everything was a lesson and a fantastic education.
From the Calif Associaition of Realtors Delta is pushing mortgage rates down Mortgage rates have already fallen as investors fret over how delta will affect the... economy. They dropped to just 2.78%, hovering near all-time lows, for 30-year fixed-rate loans in the week ending July 22, according to the most recent Freddie Mac data. Good news tends to push mortgage rates, says Hale. Some bad news would tend to push mortgage rates lower. So if the pandemic worsens, rates will stay low. That’s because when investors get worried, they often take money out of the more turbulent stock market and stick it in U.S. Treasury bonds and mortgage-backed securities, better known as mortgage bonds. Bonds are relatively safer investments that offer lower returns. When demand for bonds rises, so do prices. And mortgage rates fall.
From Calif Association of Realtors July 19, 2021 Housing continues to show signs of normalizing in California as high prices and a competitive, gradually healing economy continue to bring more sellers back into the market. In addition, C.A.R. reported last week that June was another double-digit month for both sales and prices in the state. COVID cases have started to rise again and buyer fatigue continues to push sales down from 15-year highs. However, rates have started to ease modestly and that may combine with slightly more inventory in coming weeks to fuel a rebound in potential homebuyers.
