On Saturday & Sunday (9/5 & 9/6), Slow Theatre premieres Butcher Shop 2020: The Social Contract on Facebook Live, YouTube, and on the big screen via our Drive-In Movie Screening. Slow Theatre Artistic Director and Board Member and Butcher Shop Producer, Denver Latimer, shares the purpose and intention behind the selection of this year’s theme, The Social Contract. Tickets for Saturday’s Drive-In Screening are officially SOLD OUT. Come one, come all because the annual Butcher Shop Bocce Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 19th at 2500 Estes Road. Teams of 4 register and pay an entry fee of $120/team. Registration is limited to 16 teams so sign up before October 10th to reserve your spot! This is a double elimination format so you'll be guaranteed to play at least two games. The top two teams will receive prizes. Games start at 9 a.m. and the finals will be held around 5 or 6 p.m. Spectators ar...e welcome. There will be a no-host taco truck onsite for lunch.
