I am opening Bucks Lake tomorrow and Friday from 1000 am to 3pm for residents only. This is subject to fire weather and is subject to change at any time. If the fire weather stays favorable this may go into the weekend but at this time it is too early to tell. I am having staff contact the folks you identified on your list as I type this. Folks will have to check in and sign a waiver prior to entering the closed area. This will be done at the check point. If you have contact with folks please tell them to watch our Facebook page for updates and to not call in. Also drive slow as there will still be considerable fire traffic in the area. Best I can do for now. This is from the Sheriff

We are still not allowed back into Bucks Lake yet. The fire is still active and for our safety and theirs they do not want people in the way.

Michelle Grubbs posted that no cabins have burned at Bucks Lake. The crews have been working extremely hard to protect all structures and we cannot thank them enough.
