Farmer friends, I have some bad news: #buckeyefarmstand has burned to the ground, along with most of the community in which it stood. The #campfire has decimated our small town, leaving tens of thousands homeless. I will be starting a gofundme account just for the farm. I’d like to use the money to start a large community garden that can nourish my community for free, donation, or trade as we rebuild. I will be posting the link soon, as well as an amazon list of needed suppli...es. What I’m asking for from you, my online farming community, are seeds or starts. I am in zone 9b in Northern California and would like to grow food year round, as this disaster is not going to be over once it’s out of the news cycle. I am trying to keep my farm #organic, #nongmo, and #heirloom, but I know there are many ways of growing healthy sustainable food. I’d also happily take information/education, used supplies/equipment, and volunteers once we are allowed back to the property.
