The Inyo National Forest has partially reopened. You can now hike, fish, view the fall colors and recreate in most front country locations. The Humboldt-Toiyabe... National Forest is still fully open. Here’s how Rock Creek Road and Rock Creek Lake are looking right now! Photos by Robin Roberts!

Due to the forest being closed and our increase in phone calls we can not keep up. We are not taking any more reservations for the remainder of the season we have no availability for the weekends of September 18-19 and 24-25. We have no hook up sites until October 25-31. Just come on in we have plenty of non hook up sites available. Other than the above mentioned dates. Thank you everyone we’ve had a great season!!
Forest Service closure update. We were able to speak with a representative at the Department of Fish and Wildlife to confirm unfortunately that any type of Recr...eation on Forest Service land is prohibited until the 14th of September (hopefully it will not get extended). We got to hope they can get California wildfires in general under control, because this is a blanket shut down. We here in the Inyo National Forest have no fire danger that is why Creekside RV park will remain open on private property. So anything that is not on Forest Service land like Pleasant Valley Reservoir and the Owens River for example are on DWP land so there should be some fishable waters down the hill. We will keep you updated with any new news but the indicator should be the containment of wildfires within the entire State of California that is what will open things up again. See more
