We’re grateful for the love and support we’ve received during our first year of business! We celebrated our anniversary last week by hosting a Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce mixer in our event space, and giving members a tour of our tents, swimming hole, and beach. And, we *finally* had our official ribbon-cutting ceremony that has been postponed due to Covid. Healdsburg and Sonoma County have gone above and beyond in welcoming us to the community. With the mask mandate being removed for vaccinated guests, it was also incredible to see so many smiling faces, and have them so close to us. Thanks for the support from the Chamber and attendees, including Williamson Wines, Sonoma County Humane Society, Getaway Adventures, Napa Sonoma Blend Wine Tours, Sutro wines, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and others that we’re probably forgetting.

Escape into the Redwoods! Riverfront Regional Park in Healdsburg is a 2-mile flat loop around a scenic lake ending in a large grove of giant redwoods We highly recommend this hike to our family guests who want an easy trail that is close by (15 minutes drive), has bathrooms and running water, plenty of parking, and picnic tables for a post-hike meal. Parents: Your kids will LOVE looking for frogs and fish at the lake shore, then wandering around the very impressive redwood grove. @spencerspellman

Now here’s a view you can’t get from inside your hotel room this summer! Just look at those stars! We’re surrounded by vineyards and the Russian River, which keeps our skies both dark and wide open. Come enjoy a spectacular night sky filled with billions of stars, and both Mars and Venus visible in the northwestern sky

Interested in seeing what you could do on your next visit to Wildhaven Sonoma? We recommend pairing your stay at Wildhaven with a hike in Redwoods, wine tasting in the famous Alexander Valley (try a cabernet), and kayaking down the Russian River. Check out this video by @craving2create from their recent Fall stay, where they did all 3 in one weekend.

Wildhaven Sonoma is located on the Russian River, which travels more than 100 miles of Northern California, crossing both Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. Some guests use the river to reflect and enjoy the view, like this guy. While others enjoy fishing, floating in an innertube to a rope swing, kayaking up or downstream, or simply jumping in for a relaxing swim! After your river adventures, you can rinse off in our indoor or outdoor showers and cozy up by the fire! ... Let us know what your favorite river activity is in the comments!

We wanted to share the good news that the Stay At Home order has been lifted statewide! We've heard from our followers and past guests that they really need a few nights of fresh air, beautiful scenery, and starry skies during these darker times. We'd love it if you considered Wildhaven Sonoma for that break in the next few months. Our rates increase on May 1 by $30 per night, so another reason to see if you can steal away before the summer. Stay safe everyone https://www.wildhavensonoma.com
