Efforts towards COVID-19 prevention have become part of our daily lives, and we are so pleased to share that our Brookdale residents and associates are among the first group to have access to a COVID-19 vaccine. We are partnering with CVS Health through the federal government’s Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program and will be having our first vaccine clinic on January 19, 2021 at 11:00AM for community residents and associates who are interested in receiving the vaccine. Super Bowl LV, on February 7th, 2021 may be celebrated a little differently this year but Covid-19 hasn't taken away our passion for the game. The game is being broadcast to us from Tampa, FL, with Halftime entertainment by "The Weekend". The residents of Brookdale Corona will be watching and celebrating in our own unique style, and we know it will be fun.

As the number of people affected by dementia continues to grow, more complex issues related to the disease are gaining public attention. Among the more sensitive: personal stories of spouses and partners of those with advanced levels of the disease forming new romantic relationships while continuing to care for their loved ones.

We continue to connect to our loved ones virtually, but we are all looking forward to the day we can meet in person and share a great big hug. Here's to better days in 2021.
