Day 33- Restore My Gentleness Titus 3:1-2 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone. Read this verse a few times slowly and allow God’s truth to soak into your heart, mind and spirit. Ask God to restore the places that are dry and weary. Posture your heart for the Holy Spirit to bring about change within you. We wan...t His fullness, His peace, His love and His restoration throughout our lives. As you sit with this verse, think about these things: Where do I need His living water today in my life? Where am I feeling dry and weary? Show me Lord a new awareness of your love and provision in these places in my life. Teach me how to come to You for restoration rather than seeking comfort in the world. Father, restore my gentleness. This world is full of things that insight anger, disappointment, anxiety and hostility toward others. Jesus, thank you for showing us that gentleness is not weakness, but comes from a place of strength and security. Please anchor me in that strength and fill me with Your love and peace that my words and actions would display the gentleness that Jesus modeled.

In this episode, we dig deeper into John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Day 32- Restore My Kindness Romans 15:5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus. Read this verse a few times slowly and allow God’s truth to soak into your heart, mind and spirit. Ask God to restore the places that are dry and weary. Posture your heart for the Holy Spirit to bring about change within you. We want His fullness, His peace, His love and His restoration throughout our lives.... As you sit with this verse, think about these things: Where do I need His living water today in my life? Where am I feeling dry and weary? Show me Lord a new awareness of your love and provision in these places in my life. Teach me how to come to You for restoration rather than seeking comfort in the world. Father, restore my kindness. Throughout the week, from driving in traffic, corresponding in email or dialoguing with others in person, there are many opportunities to show kindness rather than frustration. We know Your kindness is a healing salve for hearts and I want to share that with those You put in my path today. Restore the places in me that have felt others unkindness and are hurting. Fill me with your loving kindness that it would flow out of me with ease.

Day 31- Restore My Patience Proverbs 15:18 A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel. Read this verse a few times slowly and allow God’s truth to soak into your heart, mind and spirit. Ask God to restore the places that are dry and weary. Posture your heart for the Holy Spirit to bring about change within you. We want His fullness, His peace, His love and His restoration throughout our lives.... As you sit with this verse, think about these things: Where do I need His living water today in my life? Where am I feeling dry and weary? Show me Lord a new awareness of your love and provision in these places in my life. Teach me how to come to You for restoration rather than seeking comfort in the world. Father, restore my patience. Day to day life wears away at my patience whether circumstances, relationships, physical or emotional conditions. I do not want to bring chaos or strife to situations, I need Your Holy Spirit to give me patience that I may instead bring order, calm and resolution. Teach me to be a peacemaker that cultivates unity through words that are kind and calm that comes from a place of patience.

Day 30- Restore My Peace Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Read this verse a few times slowly and allow God’s truth to soak into your heart, mind and spirit. Ask God to restore the places that are dry and weary. Posture your heart for the Holy Spirit to bring about change within you. We want His fullness, His peace, His love and His restoration throughout our lives.... As you sit with this verse, think about these things: Where do I need His living water today in my life? Where am I feeling dry and weary? Show me Lord a new awareness of your love and provision in these places in my life. Teach me how to come to You for restoration rather than seeking comfort in the world. Father, restore my peace. I not only ask you to restore the peace I know, but also give me peace in the areas where my mind wanders to all the possible scenarios bringing anxiety and chaos to my thoughts. Rule my heart and bring me into Your perfect peace. I am so thankful for all you do daily that I can and cannot see. Help my mind to stir on such things as testimony of Your goodness, bringing me peace in all things.
