Over the last few weeks the Bridgeport Firefighters Association has teamed up with the Twin Lakes Resort and The Twin Lakes Trout Foundation to create the Bridgeport Food Bank. We have been able to provide food to hundreds of local Bridgeport residents who have been effected economically from the shutdown. If you would like to contribute to the ongoing effort you can support the Bridgeport Food Bank by using the Go Fund Me link listed below. If you or anyone you know can benefit from the Bridgeport Food Bank please reach out to Nick at 916-716-0414 or Misti at 310-809-4003 to get signed up. Stay safe, and stay healthy.
Bridgeport Fire would like to remind everyone of the importance of social distancing. We’re here for you, stay home for us. #socialdistancing #wecanbeatthisvirus #covd19 #quarantine #stayhomemono Thank you to @faithhysell for helping us share the message!
Don’t forget tonight is the night! Bring your jacket and scarf and come on down to the fire department for our Festival of Lights. See you there!
About 2 and a half more weeks until the Festival of Lights! We will have ornament making, cookie decorating, pictures with Santa, a Christmas tree lighting, and of course the parade of lights (weather permitting). As always the event is free to all, we hope to see you there!
The third annual Operation Christmas Light is gearing up for the month of December. As always we will be providing Christmas lights free of charge for those who cannot afford them, and will install lights for those who are unable to do it themselves. Also this year we are happy to announce that in conjunction with the Bridgeport Gun Club, we will have a limited number of frozen turkeys available to donate for anyone who needs a little help making Christmas dinner extra special. Give us a call or send us an email to get on the list!
Join us for this years Festival of Lights on Saturday Dec. 21st at 5:00 pm. Tons of great free family fun!
For the second year in a row the Mono County EMS won the First Responders Chili Cookoff! A huge thank you to all who competed and came to support the event. See you all next year!
