From the bottom of our toes to the top of our flower crowns, we are so proud to have been able to commune with you all, in all that is expression, love, and poetry. Thank you for being brave with us in this new pandemic era, thanks for being outspoken with us in this time of the state choosing to wage war against Black folks; trans folks and the list of those who have consistently been subjected to violence and oppression. It is our hope that Brave New Voices 2020 put some f...eel good in your body and your spirits. We really wanted to curate something special, and each poet, coach, judge, volunteer, audience member, delivery driver, tech support professional, and staff member made it so. We ask that you continue to make space with each other across these imaginary lines that separate us. Keep loving on each other’s art, and using social media and other vehicles to be virtually close. If you feel inclined, please create a video testimonial and send to our DM to tell us about your favorite BNV moment, poem or event and why.
