So awesome....great news that Abs are present in newborns after maternal infection. Most newborns had protective IgG and neutralizing antibodies against SARS-Cov-2 virus. This occurred even in asymptomatic pregnant mothers but higher levels in symptomatic women. Maternal capacity to mount a robust immune response that lasts at least 28 days after the infection. Dr. B yay!
