We had a lot of fun in the pick your own handy round... just avoid the trot fences and I am good to go ...French Connection took home the win with Maui in 2nd. Tess almost caught up with a handy score into the 90s and ended up 3rd.

Addison and Tui were challenged by the new venue but worked hard all week to figure it out and we got some great pictures out of it .

Congratulations to Sarah and Slim for making their public debut at Paso Robles. They both had a perfect show trying equally hard for each other.

We are grateful for the CPHA foundation making an easy way to give to our community in this difficult time. We can’t wait to get back to the most beautiful place we get to show... thanks Paso Robles Horse Park!!

Addison Cheney lives the life of a trainer kid. She was born in the saddle, and she rides any pony or horse she can sit on and shows them in any division they c...an compete in. She can’t wait to get back into the show ring. Get to know Addison in this Member Spotlight! ~Hometown: Livermore, CA ~School: Valley Montessori (The best school ever!) ~Horse names: My mom is a pony collector so whose they are is debatable but I like to spend time with Ratatouille, Maebelle, Magic Slippers, Flower Power and Wall-E. I was there when all of them were born and it is fun to start riding them finally. ~Favorite NorCal Horse Show: Sacramento International because I get to watch all my favorite riders and hang out with my friends at the same time... And the food selection is excellent! ~Favorite NorCal accomplishment: I had my first derby win at a NorCal Horse Show with Seattle. ~Why are you a member of NorCal Hunter Jumper Association? My mom joined me when I was 5 so I could do my first clinic. I have been able to clinic with Kristin Harden, Mandy Porter, and Candice King thanks to NorCal. ~Worst riding experience (that you can laugh at now): When my mom's 30 year old pony took off with me when she was only supposed to be walking. ~Your horse’s celebrity alter ego: The day my first pony left for lease... I gave him a haircut when no one was looking. I am told he resembled Bruno Mars. ~Most influential horse person: How can I possibly chose. One of them is Mandy Porter. ~Horse from the past or present you’d most want to ride: This is an even harder choice!!! One of them again would be WT Leapfrog. ~Best piece of riding advice you’ve ever received: When I would visit Mousie towards the end of her life...she would watch my riding videos with me and say... "Outside leg! Kick harder!" Life this year has required quite a bit of kicking to keep it going! ~Finish this sentence: If I didn't have horses in my life, I would....
