Guys, we are just as upset as you are. A reminder that WE as a lodge are still open, but all recreating on forest lands remains prohibited. If you would still like to cancel your upcoming reservation, please give us a call. No doubt about it, 2020 is shaping up to be a pretty horrible year.

Another extension of the closure. :( If you have reservations for this upcoming weekend, please expect a call from us tomorrow. We are so sorry! We want the forest to re-open just as much as everyone else.

We are so happy to see so many visitors in our little mountain paradise!! We are doing our absolute best to get our rooms clean and ready by our 4pm check in time, but we ask that you PLEASE be patient and show us grace if they are later than 4pm. We are short on help and having to do all the extra deep cleaning due to Covid is requiring more time. We are currently running about 2+ hours behind for same day reservations. Again, we are doing our best and ask that you please bear with us during these strange times.

UPDATE for Tues April 21, 2020: Please read the attached article (and linked memorandum) in full! As of today, the opening date for the 2020 fishing season opener has been officially postponed. The projected date is now June 1st. HOWEVER, if mono county deems it safe to lift the Stay At Home order early (it is currently scheduled to expire may 31st) then openener could potentially be before June 1st. We will be contacting all guests who are scheduled to arrive this weekend over the next few days. You will have the option to reschedule for the new June 1st date, or for the 2021 opener.

2020 FISHING OPENER UPDATE: We wanted to offer an update to all of our guests regarding Fishmas. As of today, there is NO new official date for the 2020 fishing opener season. The previously mentioned June 1st date has NOT been confirmed by any outlet. There will be a meeting on Wednesday and our contacts assure us they will be picking a new date by then. As soon as we know, you’ll know. ... If you have a reservation for this weekend, please sit tight. We will be contacting you to reschedule as soon as we know what date to reschedule too. :) Thank you so much for your patience during this time. Our number one goal is to make sure our guests and employees are safe. We are all eager to get back to our lakes and streams. and the fish will be waiting when we do.
