We are incredibly grateful for the generous support given to Kat during this difficult time. It is beautiful to see how many lives she has touched and how valuable she is to our community. Kathleen Harrison, Founder and President of Botanical Dimensions, is recovering from a random, violent attack. Kat’s family and friends have begun a fundraiser to support her healing process and relief from the expenses incurred. We are sincerely thankful to all who have already contributed. This misfortune comes at a time when Kat’s earnings had already been crucially reduced since the beginning of the pandemic due to the necessary suspension of all in-person programs at Bot...anical Dimensions' Ethnobotany Library. Christopher and his partner Jen have given their time as volunteers for Botanical Dimensions. Now they are in need of support, as Christopher joins the waiting list for a new heart. The costs associated with this major surgery and lifelong aftercare are immense. We appreciate gifts of any amount to this sweet family during their time of need.

Our small book sales continue today at the Occidental Bohemian Farmers Market, 4-7pm. We are selling the extra copies and books that don’t quite fit in our Ethnobotany Library. But the topics all fit under #ethnobotany. This is the final farmers market of the season, with Halloween special live music, costumes and foods all safely presented. Masks required.
