We are not saying goodbye, for now we are saying... Farewell! After 40 years of going strong, we’ve had a lot to contemplate, and for so many unfortunate reasons we will be closing. My father’s legacy of this quaint shoe repair shop, will continue to go on in our hearts forever! I am incredibly proud of my father: Mr Chito Martinez, served in the military and fought the Korean War. He then became a successful retail manager of Kinney Shoes, in Chula Vista, to being promoted ...to The District Mgr of all Hawaii. He then retired but refused to sit down, and then he opened his own business: Boot Round Up & Shoe Repair! His store has been a legend and a landmark, servicing so many over the past 40 plus years. We hate to see this little gem of a family owned business go, we’ve made so many connections and friendships over the years! We want to thank All of our loyal customers and friendships, that kept us up in business all these years. I personally want to thank each and every one of you for being so kind & dear to my sweet loving father! No one else could fill his shoes, so to speak. I miss him dearly, and many thanks to All of you who helped lift me through grieving! It has touched my heart forever, and I’m honored to have met so many of you!! The doors will close December 22nd, 2019 as our family was not the land owners. Any merchandise that has not been picked up in a considerable amount of time, I will take with me and make contact, to arrange to get you your items.
