Booksin Families, We look forward to welcoming you and your students to the 2017-18 school year. We are continuously working to improve our processes and this year we are launching a few improvements for volunteering:... 1. Our volunteer forms are now available online at go.sjusd.org/volunteer. All new and returning volunteers must complete this form. 2. If you are a new volunteer for the 2017-18 school year, you must complete the form mentioned above, as well as complete a Tuberculosis screening and district fingerprinting. The Human Resources team will be coming to Booksin on August 14 from 2-4:30pm to provide fingerprinting on site. There are a limited number of spots. In order to participate, you must have a TB clearance in hand, valid photo ID, and $10 cash/check to cover a portion of the fingerprint fee. Once you have obtained your TB clearance (must be done within the last 60 days), please select a fingerprint time at go.sjusd.org/volunteerFP. 3. Once HR has validated your fingerprints and TB you will automatically receive an email confirmation that you are cleared to volunteer. If you have any questions on the volunteer requirements, please refer to go.sjusd.org/volunteer or contact HR at 408.535.6139.
