Hello everyone! We just wanted to reach out to you to give a quick reminder that our warehouse is currently not open to the public for shopping. We know that everyone is so excited to visit with us again, and we absolutely miss your smiling faces to keep us company, and we so much appreciate your patience and continued patronage while we adjust to the new and ever-changing restrictions on retail environments. We do hope to be in a new storefront as soon as possible, but we ...do endeavor to keep our clients as safe and healthy as possible during these trying times, so we are going to continue with our online selling and local pickup options until we know for sure that our new place can be as safe as it possibly can be. We are not quite sure when we will be opening a new storefront, but as soon as that changes, we will absolutely let everyone know via our social media outlets. We are back from our vacation and are open for online order pick up and book drop offs, As a reminder, we are available for book drop-offs from 9-5 on Monday-Friday, and are available for online order pick up from 12-5 on Monday-Friday. Hello again! We wanted to post a little bit of a FAQ for you guys, since we have been asked the following quite a bit over the last few weeks. Thank you for reading! Question #1: When are you opening/ are you going to open a retail store soon? -The short answer to this question is: we are not entirely sure. The virus has made us queasy about paying rent on a commercial lease. If circumstances become favorable again for us, we may re-open. If not, we will remain online only.... Like so many small businesses right now, we have no clear vision at this time. Question #2: Are you able to ship or are you pick-up only? -Yes, we can ship to your address for a reasonable shipping and handling fee. Question #3: Where are you located? -Our address is 2710 L Street, downtown. There is a large banner with our name on the front of our building. We are not open to the public for shopping at this time, but we are open for book drop-offs and online order pick-up. Question #4: What are your pick-up hours? -We are open Monday thru Friday from 12-5 pm for pick-ups. Question #5- Are you buying books and media? -Yes! We buy books, records, DVDs, CDs, and audio books. VHS we will take on donation only (we do not pay out for them.) We are buying less than what was typical at our store at this time due to the fact that we have less room and less available outlets with which to sell right now. Question #6: What do you buy the most? -We purchase fiction of all sorts, Children’s books, records, VERY current non-fiction, and textbooks (within the last two years or so.) We are not buying many DVDs unless they are boxed sets, BBC, A&E, etc. Question #7: How do we get paid for our drop-off items? -When you get to our warehouse, follow the curving walkway in the front of the building. There is a metal gate at the top of the walkway, go ahead through it (it has a sticky latch but is unlocked until 5 pm.) Leave your items on the tables you see in front of you once you open up the gate, along with payment info for Venmo, Paypal, or include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you prefer a check. We pay cash prices only, which was only of store credit price.) We are not issuing store credit at this time. Question #8: When will payment be issued? -Please allow 2 weeks for processing. Most of the time it is quicker than that, but sometimes we can get a little bit of a backlog depending on how much we have taken in and who is available to process it.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to send out a quick reminder that if you have books on hold for pending purchase, we can hold them for a maximum of 5 days before they are returned to the sale shelves. We do ask that all Facebook orders are paid for and picked up promptly as we dont have much room to hold them. Thank you! :)
