My Imagination City

Hey friends and family, as many of you know we opened @myimaginationcity 5 months ago. We took a leap of faith and put all our sweat, tears and heart into building Imagination City. A child size city for kids of all ages, for kids like my Kellan boo who struggled with social interaction. Once upon a time this was all just a dream, a vision and now this pandemic just turned it into a bad nightmare we just want to wake up from. As each day passes the future of Imagination City ...is uncertain. The only thing we are certain of are prayers and support from our family, friends and community. The other day we received an invitation to join in a fundraiser organized by @GoFundMe to support small businesses. We are so thankful to be a part of this and so thankful for the love and support. Hi Families, Less than 6 months ago my family and i closed our in home preschool to open Imagination City. I have so much passion and joy for learning and growing with children. Our hopes and vision for Imagination City finally came to life each time your child walked in, excited to make new friends and explore the city. We made an effort to get to know each child and make memories with them at Imagination City. And we hope when this is over we can bounce back and reopen our ...doors. The future for Imagination City is unknown, small businesses everywhere are strongly impacted by COVID-19. We do know, Imagination City created a safe, fun and learning environment for our kids in the Bay Area. We were so excited to learn families from Half Moon Bay or Vallejo traveling down to explore Imagination City. We are open this weekend from 10:30am - 8:30pm . . . .... Dear Valued Customers Your family and children are at the core of everything we do and in light of the World Health Organization declaring the COVID-19 a pandemic, our top priority is keeping our employees, children, families and communities safe as we continue to closely monitor the situation. Pursuant to this we wanted to let you know the following: At Imagination City we have all the necessary supply of disinfectant materials and hand sanitizer to frequently clean high-touch surfaces to kill germs and ensure our store is a safe environment for both our families, children and employees. As always we will continually clean products, toys and countertops throughout the day. We will close every 3 hours to do a thorough deep clean. At all times, at least one owner will be in the store to ensure that our cleanliness standard are being followed. We will ask all incoming customers if they have any symptoms of a cold or flu-like symptoms and we’ll politely decline access to our play area if we feel that there is a health risk All employees/management have been instructed to stay home if they are sick and are experiencing any flu-like symptoms related to COVID-19, no matter how mild, and until they have been cleared by a medical professional to return to work. We want to remind all families to consult the CDC for COVID-19 symptom information and request that you follow recommended self-quarantine guidelines if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, no matter how mild. Finally, we want everyone to know that we are taking this health threat as seriously as possible. Tanforan mall remains open and as such we will remain open as well, but we also have the mall’s assurance that they have taken proactive, precautionary actions to maintain the safe environment at the shopping center.
