I that we need to expect the GOP and those who guarded and guided Donald Trump as he performed his oath of office, to apologize and acknowledge their role in the catastrophe of the past four years. There were numerous moments when our country and constitution was threatened by one man’s actions. They stood by. Numerous moments when they clearly knew that our president lied, cheated, and deceived; committed and perpetrated crimes against the tenets of our democracy and encou...raged those whose only goal was to assassinate the core of our country’s foundation. Those who were enablers Mitch McConnell, Mike Pence, Rudy Giuliani, Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Josh Hawley, and so many more should be brought to trial just as the Third Reich’s leaders were under Adolph Hitler or any other dangerous autocratic dictatorship. These are individuals who had the power to stop a despotic man and did not, despite numerous moments when his character was called into question. Let us not forget their role in giving him the power to do what he has done these past four years, and most importantly, what he did this past Wednesday.
