An award-winning songwriter, composer and recording artist, having graced the pages of Billboard, Music Connection, FM Sound, Keyboard Magazine and more, Emiko has shared the stage with artists like Cyndi Lauper, Major Lazer, Marcus Mumford, Jackson Brown, Keb Mo’, and Chris Barr...on. Emiko began her career at the tender age of just two and a half, deeply rooted in classical music, retiring as a concert pianist by age twelve. Her impressive catalogue even landed her recognition by the Songwriters Hall of Fame in her early 20’s. As a music industry professional and songwriter for Sony/ATV, Universal Music Group, InGrooves, Fontana, and 37 Records/McJames Music Publishing, Emiko has transitioned her experiences to successfully build multiple bridges between the artist and business side of the music industry, creating a harmonious balance of the two in an eco-system of service and a culture of progress through owning her own marketing firm and most recently leading the launch initiative for BLVD Sounds.
