Hello Blue Oak Community, It is with a somber heart that I share the news of a loss in our community. Felicita Lemus was a treasured member of the Ma family (one of our current Sawtelle-Juniper families). She was a devoted and loving nanny to Sydney from infancy and was considered to be a true and precious friend and family member to Sydney, Shay (mom), and Adam (dad). Annual Blue Oak Camp Out! Offering families opportunities to share experiences supports our community connect. Children and parents take a moment to disconnect and enjoy nature and a slower pace. This is a truly a special event.

Hello to the entire Blue Oak Community (past, present, and future!), We are excited to announce that Blue Oak T-Shirts are now available for purchase! The heathered grey t-shirts are a 50/25 Poly-Cotton blend which means they feel wonderfully soft and comfortable! Both adult and child sizes are available: adult shirts have a blue logo ($25), children's shirts have an orange logo ($20), and both shirts have the full Blue Oak logo on the back. The shirts will be on display in t...he front entry way along with order forms. Order forms have been emailed out - if you have not received one please reach out to us at [email protected]. Completed order forms can be dropped off along with your payment in the mail slot/office/tuition envelope. Paypal payments will be accepted for an additional fee (invoice will be emailed to you). Annual all school play date at the farm! Shared experiences supports a community connection. Thank you to the Community Committee for organizing!

The annual campout. every year we invite our entire community, including alumni and graduates, to welcome our incoming families at the camping trip. The children have the freedom to explore nature, practice independence and make new friends. The parents have time to connect and build their connections with our adult community.

Our transition to Blue Oak begins months before the first day of school... the incoming families and children all have many opportunities to build a relationship with the teachers, the current community and the school environment. Today was the first day of our 2017-2018 school year, and it was clear that we are going to have a wonderful year!
