Good bye 2020! It was a year of extreme growth for me personally and professionally. It was uncomfortable as hell but so necessary. My salon went through 3 shutdowns, frustrating yes, but it forced me to slow down and take a look at how I was running business and life. With my new found time I challenged myself and took as many hair color classes as I could. Also a business course that focused on the financial aspects of my business and a 3 month course where I became ...certified in NBR @naturalbeadedrowsextensions. Learning to say NO (again) is a skill I’m trying to master without any guilt, shame or self doubt. This one is extremely hard for me especially being in the service industry we are supposed to say yes all the time. I am a one woman show and I can’t please everyone. I’ve learned to let shit go (again). This is a big one for me too! A wise woman once told me..do you want to be right or do you want peace? I want to spend more time with my family and friends, especially my nieces. Seeing the world through those little eyes is amazing. Life is short and it can all change in an instant. I am a work in progress walking into 2021 with a new perspective! Now it’s your turn! What are you going to shift and align to make this next year better?

Trust the process... I love this transformation! Sometimes a client needs to ease into a color, and that’s exactly what we did with her...slow and steady! Let’s talk texture! These two products are in my daily regimen, but today I will chat about @livingproofinc Full Dry Volume Blast! It is perfect for fine, flat hair, or any type of hair looking to add volume and texture. I love to use it after I blow dry and before I curl to give it a little grit. I mostly use it to finish a style to fluff up the look . One of the things I like about it is that it feels weightless and doesn’t build up over the days that I use it. This stuff is magic friends!
