Bindlestiff Studio and Velasco Arts present Philippine Children's Theatre with Maribel Legarda, an 8-week, online workshop utilizing Philippine literature, visual arts, and performance training for kids ages 8-13 years old. This is a one-of-kind artistic experience with renowned artist Maribel Legarda, the Artistic Director of Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). This is part of Tagalog 2021, an immersive experience in Philippine culture, language, and performance. What a year 2020 has been! We had to use the word "pivot" a million times, "bandwidth" is no longer just a figurative measure of our capacity, but on a serious note we all had to confront what it really meant to care for ourselves, our community, and the world. For our End of the Year Gathering, we want to shine a light on what kept the Bindlestiff light glowing during the darkest times; our community of artists and our supporters.
