bikes! for sale!

Biketopia Community Workshop 28.10.2020

Biketopia is holding a bike sale next weekend! Please share the news and join us! https://buff.ly/2GPLdaQ . . . .... . . . . The COVID-19 pandemic has changed all of our lives. Biketopia is taking steps to reduce transmission of this virus and as a part of these steps, have closed our space to in-person workshops, but we continue to support our community through repair services and restoring bicycles to put back out into the community. Over the last several years, we have seen many small bicycle shops and organizations like Biketopia shutter. We are lucky to be supported by dedicated volunteers, but we don't need to tell you that expenses are high. Like so many others, we are trying our best to keep our heads above water. All proceeds from this sale or donations will help us stay open to serve the community during this challenging time and into the future. We hope that you will consider your next repair or bicycle purchase from us. Alternately, we are accepting donations or advanced memberships (begins when we fully re-open) at https://buff.ly/2GYh4pF. Thank you for your continued support.

hey all the RICH CITY RIDES MOBILE BIKE REPAIR VAN has been VANDALIZED! And they need our help! https://www.gofundme.com/f/rich-city-rides039-mobile-bike-r From their gofundme: On September 1st, 2020, someone vandalized the Rich City Rides service van. Not pretty. A total 2020. We’re sure the vandals did not know it was our van we love our community, and we know our community loves us.... We are now raising money to repair the damage. We are going to wrap it in our logo, so everyone will know that it's us, and we are going to use the proceeds from the fundraiser to outfit the van with tools and equipment to bring our bicycle repair program to schools, parks, and community centers. help support these rad folks if you can!

There is a lot of need for bicycles right now & we're not building them fast enough to meet demands for folks who need safe mobility options. If you have a bicycle that is in relative good shape & would like to donate it, please let us know! We're looking for bikes with minimal repairs that we can tune-up quickly! Email us at [email protected]!
